When our client reached out, she had one mission: transform her blah builder-grade bathroom into a vibrant, personality-packed space that matched her bold, trend-setting style. The rest of her house was a reflection of her eclectic taste as an art collector —but the bathroom? It felt like someone else’s. Enter One of a Kind Interior Design.
Starting with her favorite green from a cherished painting, we took her love of bold color and out-of-the-box thinking and ran with it. The result? A guest bathroom that’s a true masterpiece.
We gave the shower a grand makeover, with a custom geometric design using subway tile, taking it all the way up to the ceiling to give the small bathroom a sense of grandeur. The floor? A cool, geometric tile that mimics concrete and perfectly complements the bold shower walls. And since all that stunning tile deserved to shine, we ditched the boring shower rod for a custom glass panel with a swing feature—functional, modern, and fabulous!
To keep the vibe modern and edgy, we paired sleek black plumbing fixtures with a cheerful yellow square vessel sink that screams, Look at me! The original vanity leveled-up with a durable new countertop and carefully curated accessories. Out went the builder-grade lighting and mirror, replaced with modern black-and-yellow accents that tied the whole look together.
Lighting was a challenge, but we love solving problems with style. Instead of costly canned lights, we swapped the outdated exhaust fan for a sleek, modern version with a built-in light. Voilà—instant illumination and a chic upgrade that kept us with in budget!
The artful exclamation point? The Naked Lady Wall. When our client mentioned her stash of nudes (art, of course!) sitting in her basement, we knew exactly where to showcase them. This gallery wall of bold, cheeky art is the final touch that transforms this bathroom into a one-of-a-kind space that screams her.
